OUR RECOMMENDATIONS
We have seen countless undergarments over the years whilst crafting gowns for brides and we know how much of a drag it can be finding the right pieces to go under your gown, yet it is so important for the final look. We've literally had brides bring in bags full of styles to try so we've seen all types. The biggest problem is the seams on the undergarments plus where the straps sit if required, and then of course comfort.
So we've made it easy with this concise list of undergarments that we KNOW work well for lots of brides and also have advice on what suits different shape bodies and with different styling plus we've added direct links for ease of purchase. Still bras should always be tried on as sizes vary considerably from brand to brand. and many of these pieces are mass made in Asia so sizing can be confusing .
We recommend purchasing some of these items when you are seeking a gown for best results and in particular to have your bra organized for the measure of your gown. When buying seamless briefs it is better to purchase them a little larger to stop the top digging in especially if they are lower cut. If you can find briefs with a higher waist particularly if your gown fits to the waist these result in a better look.
Remember nude is always best and you can always slip into something a little prettier before your new husband sees!

Our Advice: The thick ridge along the top edge can be an issue as it can show through the layers of your gown on some dresses but we still find this the best and most comfortable bra for our curvier clientele. This also has the adaptable straps which allows us to create a beautiful back on your gown as many straps on bras are clunky and too close in to the centre back.

Our Advice: These are great for fuller bust clientelle as they angle up at the side allowing for more of a lift. Plus they are more of a pleasure to put on than the taping. The adhesive can be a problem after a few wears and sometimes after all the fittings and by the wedding clients need to aquire a new pair. The lace up at the front can be pulled in tighter for more cleavage or not but the lacing may show through your gown depending on your gown choice.
